Quick check before Taiwan: dial *#06# and look for an 'EID' number — if it's there, your phone supports eSIM. Also confirm the phone is carrier-unlocked. Compatible models include iPhone XS and newer, Google Pixel 3 and newer, and recent Samsung Galaxy phones.
