Is 5G available in South Korea on a travel eSIM?

I'm heading to Seoul and Busan next month and my phone supports 5G. Will I actually get 5G speeds on a travel eSIM there, or should I expect to be on LTE most of the time? I mainly care about maps, messaging and the occasional video call.

Yes, South Korea has very wide 5G coverage in cities and along most major transport routes, and your eSIM will connect to it automatically wherever it's available. Keep in mind 5G availability depends on your phone's supported bands and the network it attaches to, so if your device lacks the local 5G bands it will simply fall back to strong LTE.
