I'm going on a work trip soon and need to use my phone as a hotspot for my laptop frequently. Is using an eSIM a good option for this? Are there any limitations I should be aware of regarding data usage or connection stability?

Using an eSIM for tethering is a great choice, especially for work trips! Just make sure your data plan has sufficient data allowance for your usage, as hotspot data can add up quickly.

I've used an eSIM for tethering on my last trip, and it worked flawlessly! Just ensure you set up your eSIM before you fly and test it out in a low-data situation first.

Also, remember that some carriers may have restrictions on tethering with eSIMs, so check the specific terms of your plan. Generally, if you have a solid data plan, you should be good to go!

I traveled to Europe with an eSIM and was able to tether easily. The speeds were great, but I did have to monitor my data usage closely.

For my work trips, I always prioritize data plans that allow for tethering. It's been a lifesaver during meetings when I don’t have Wi-Fi available.

I’ve used eSIMs for both personal and work trips. Tethering can vary in speed depending on location, so just be prepared for occasional drops.

Definitely check the fine print of your eSIM plan about hotspotting. My eSIM allowed tethering, but I didn’t realize it capped at a lower speed after a certain limit.

I found that while tethering with an eSIM on my trip, it helped to have a power bank handy. Hotspotting can drain your battery quickly!
