Do I need to enable roaming for my Portugal eSIM?

Question

Nervous about turning on Data Roaming for Portugal — will it cost extra?

Sara (GotoeSIM) · Accepted Answer

Yes, Data Roaming must be ON for your Portugal eSIM — and it never costs extra. Travel eSIMs connect through local partner networks, which technically counts as 'roaming', but your plan is fully prepaid so there are no roaming charges at all.
