If I switch data to the eSIM in Israel, does WhatsApp still work on my normal number?
Will my WhatsApp keep working in Israel with an eSIM?

Yes! The eSIM only carries data. Your normal SIM stays active, so WhatsApp, iMessage, calls and texts all keep working on your usual number while you use the eSIM for data in Israel. Nothing to re-register.
